The REFORMER: In using the resistance of the Reformer, your Pilates workout is enhanced to increase muscle tone and lean muscle mass. It also heightens awareness of the activated muscles creating a strong mind-body connection.
The TOWER: Adds more dynamic stability challenge with its Spring resistance & offers clients more standing Pilates work which challenge stability, not only the core, but also the lower joints. Also great for shoulder girdle & pelvic stability.
The STABILITY CHAIR: Lots of great muscle isolation challenge for strength & stability Again offering some fantastic upright exercises.
The LADDER BARREL: Provides some fantastic dynamic strength work & lovely flexibility/ mobility challenge.
The ROTATIONAL DISKBOARD: targets Deep rotators of the hips,& is great for challenging & correcting leg alignment with hip mobility.
Pilates New Plymouth specialises in STOTT PILATES® Reformer classes & now has the Tower, chair & Barrel Pilates exercises available. Our instructors are all Trained in STOTT PILATES®.

Assessments & Intro to Pilates
Initial assessment consultations ensure the client will get the most from their Pilates program.
Introduction to Pilates can be done individually or in small groups of up to 4 people.
